Denmark – Football

Denmark’s team, a strong side, getting all the way to the quarter-finals in 1998. And this year they are favourites to come second. They beat their rivals Sweden twice in the qualifying rounds and were top, with the most points in the qualifying rounds! There national anthem is called ‘’’Der er et yndigt land’’ which translates as ‘‘There’s a loving land’’ The kit is one of a few still with a collar, It is red with a white Striped design on it.

The FIFA world ranking of Denmark’s team is 35^th.

Scratch

The past few weeks we have been working with a programme called scratch, on this we can create our own scrips for programming, using ‘building blocks’

I started with the background then added a few sprites for different things, for example keys as items to collect and the pac man!

On photo shop we made light sabers! by using a tutorial.

Crazy Talk!

At school we have been using a programme called crazy talk, on this programme you find a picture of a face and then animate it so it says what you want it to say.

I used a pictur of Daniel Craig and recorded somtihing for him to say!

The Merle

At our school, Nottingham High, we had a competiton to design a logo for the school newsletter for year 7,8 and 9. The name ‘Merle’ comes from the School Crest, of three Merle birds, also we voted for it!

I made my entry on adobe Photo Shop, First I created the black background of the bird, then I added a new layer and Wrote the Text. Finaly I drew the little icons around it and, Finished!

Logitech USB Desktop Microphone – I Would like a microphone because I enjoy making animations on my laptop but I cannot create any sound effects or speech as my old mic has broken and I miss it! Price:£9.00
